Growing up with both parents as groomers, Judi Cantu-Thacker began bathing dogs at the age of nine. By the age of 21, she entered the grooming industry professionally. Her love for grooming led her to the contest ring where she took first place and went on to place as “Best All Around Groomer” and “Best Groomed Dog” in the 2001 Nashville competitions. Soon after, Cantu-Thacker was invited to participate in the Tournament of Champions Grooming in 2004 and 2005. She has served as Coordinator for Groom Team USA and currently serves as a board member for the Groomers Emergency Assistance Fund. Today Cantu-Thacker has 25 years of experience in the industry and owns her own mobile grooming salon where she caters to clients that are busy or on-the-go. Passionate about working with young groomers, she loves to teach and empower others through the craft of grooming.

A Certified Master Groomer, Lisa is a third-generation groomer and owner of Primp My Pooch Mobile Dog and Cat Salon, based in Genoa, IL. She is also a member of Groom Team USA and was the #2 ranked groomer in the country in 2006 and 2007. Lisa has received numerous awards over her 30 year grooming career; among them was the very first Grooming Contest Judge of the Year, and several Cardinal Crystal awards, including the David Salzberg Award, the Grooming Contest Judge of the Year Award and the Congeniality Award.

Sue Zecco is a member of the National Dog Groomer Association of America and an IPG Certified Master Groomer. Zecco, a Groom Team USA member since 1997, is a winner of many gold medals and titles including 1998 Intergroom International Groomer of the Year, Cardinal Crystal Achievement Awards, and Barkleigh Honors Awards for Judge of the Year, Speaker of the Year, and Groomer of the Year. After acquiring her first standard poodle to practice new trims, she quickly became addicted to this breed. For the past 25 years, Zecco has been breeding Standard Poodles. Beyond breeding, Zecco has been a professional groomer for nearly 4 decades. Zecco presents and educates around the country on proper grooming techniques and how to brush and maintain pets between grooming appointments.

Danelle currently serves as President and Certified/Instructor of the National Cat Groomers Institute of America. Along with her husband, she is the inventor and patent holder of the Catty Shack Vac drying system.
She is known not only for her exceptional skills as a feline-handler, but also for her awesome show-worthy grooming results developed over years of successfully competing in the show ring. Combined with her seemingly unlimited knowledge of the feline-species, her training proves time and time again to be the best that can be found.
Chuck McCullough started his professional career clipping cattle in 1990 and founded McCullough Fitting Clinics in 2003. Now McCullough travels all over the United States teaching individuals how to clip, fit, and show cattle. With over 2 decades of experience in clipping cattle, McCullough has been nominated for the “Best of the Barns” award and has won countless championship titles at the Iowa State Fair and Junior Nationals. McCullough’s knowledge and passion for teaching is best demonstrated through his students many of whom have gone on to become some of the industry’s top fitters, clippers, and showmen.

Joe is the owner of Hite Dubois Cattle Company, Valley Center, Kansas raising and selling world class cattle. Joe also travels the US as a professional cattle fitter, expert judge and speaker. As a longstanding member, past president and board member of the Kansas Angus Association, Joe has a passion to share his knowledge and is dedicated to promoting Kansas Angus genetics and the development and popularity of Angus cattle in Kansas.
Rick Humphrey is a generational crop farmer and cattle rancher. Rick and his sons are the owners of Humphrey Show Cattle in Dixon, Illinois and showed the 2014 Supreme Champion Heifer at the 2014 Illinois State Fair. The Humphreys are very involved and influential in the show cattle circuit. They attend most of the larger events including North American International Livestock Expo, Denver Stock Show, and breed Junior Nationals. Rick has been instrumental in introducing Wahl to many business opportunities and product testers. In addition to his experience, Rick and his sons were key contributors in the design and testing of the X-Block clipper.
Until recently, Rick used the Lister Star for faces and used an Andis Excel for fitting the body of cattle. In his earlier show fitting days, he used sheep head clippers for clipping and fitting cattle. The Humphreys have experience with Premier, Aesculap, and Oster products.
Horses have always been a part of Diane Holmes’s life. A childhood pony set her on a path for college rodeo that would eventually lead to cowgirl mounted shooting. Over the last 30 years, Holmes has created a career of her two passions: horses and helping others. As a PATH International Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Holmes regularly hosts clinics that focus on the benefits of therapeutic riding for children with physical or cognitive impairments. Her miniature pony, Doc Holliday, wears tiny tennis shoes and visits schools and VA hospitals while her mustang, Nevada Joe, has become the Official Horse Ambassador for PATH International. A long-time member of Wahl Clipper’s X-treme Team, Holmes travels across the United States educating equestrians and farmers alike on proper clipping and grooming techniques in order to keep their animals healthy, beautiful, and safe.

A true blue American cowboy with an enthusiasm for life and strong family values, Ken McNabb grew up in a traditional ranching family in the mountains of Wyoming. From a young age McNabb knew he wanted to help others gain knowledge and confidence to achieve a new level of horsemanship. McNabb creates a unique environment where each horse is trained using gentle methods and the rider is coached to become their personal best. Today, McNabb has over 27 years of experience clipping and training horses. He has also been a featured clinician on RFD-TV for the last 11 years and won the Telly Award for educational programming.

Liv Gude has been grooming horses since she was six years old. Years later, she’s still at it! In 2006, Gude began working in the horse industry professionally – her first job being a groom for Olympian, Guenter Seidel. For the next seven years Gude worked with Olympic dressage horses. Today, Gude is the creator of Professional Equine Grooms, an organization that provides educational resources for horse grooms and enthusiasts that include topics like grooming, health, and professional development. Years of grooming and working with top notch vets, farriers, and Olympians have provided Gude the knowledge to educate horse owners of all kinds.
